Thank you for the excellent product which you provide in VET.
Recently my copy of VET has intercepted more than the average number of viruses I would normally expect to receive. It has protected my machine and in particular my client files.
I use VET because I am confident that it will ensure that I will not lose my valuable files and that I will not infect any of my clients machines with viruses.
Obviously I recommend VET to all my clients and more recently I have had used VET to clean client machines of viruses that have had other antivirus software packages installed.
I believe that by purchasing VET I am taking the best possible insurance I can to protect my files.

I don't know who at CAVet would be interested to hear this but I really am compelled to thank you guys and your team at VET for the effectiveness of your Anti Virus software.
Fortunately for us, we take advantage of your almost daily www up-dates which pays us handsome dividends not evident in our P&L.
Our networked systems (WINNT Server, NT, Win95 and Win98), have been well protected by the interception of some very malicious viruses innocently sent to us by some very large well known companies both in Australia and abroad.
We have been able to alert the senders with a detailed description of the virus and its often terrifying effects from your www site for their handling, much no doubt, to their accute embarrassment.
Not often we feel moved to comment in this way, but so good is your software in our experience, that you deserve the grateful recognition that this email attempts to convey.

Purchasing anti-virus is a bit like health insurance - you pay the invoice each year and you wonder if it's really worth it.
Well it is: someone sent me a virus in an email, and Vet found it - and I am so grateful. It's not until you need it that you appreciate it.

G'day folks, I just wanted to say thank you. I spent $20 last year on a vet cdrom. I caught a worm because I didn't update. But your staff were really concerned for me and had my mind and my computer sorted out in one phone call!
That was several months ago, and I've not caught so much as a Hiccup since.
I'm on your e-mail list, and I download the update whenever it appears. In this way, I avoided the recent hompage worm, even though all our internet friends (using other anti-virus products) succumbed to the worm because their update didn't arrive in time.... We put one of our friends onto Vet, and they found 16 worms!
So, thank you Vet. When my registered time runs out shortly, I'll be more than happy to spend the pittance required for such a service. Regards, Brad Lemon

I have been using your product for some months now and updating the system as your email updates indicate. Today I received an email from another Webmaster, which had a worm something.kak, or the like which vet wouldn't let me open and subsequently I deleted it (twice actually because he sent it twice for some reason) and vet has saved me from a very nasty experience.
Having lost a laptop to junkie.mbr I would never go without protection again and vet has been brilliant. Thanks very much, keep up the great work.

Thank you for the latest edition of Cyclops. I received and read it on Friday. On Sunday when receiving emails I received 2 from the same sourdce with Pretty Park.exe attachments. Because of your magazine these emails were immediately deleted. these emails were from a trusted source and previously I might have clicked on the attachment without virus checkint it - who knows? But since reading Cyclops I am very vigilant on checking all attachments.
Today, I also subscribed to your email notification service - the money I have spent has been well worth it - keep up the good work.

I wish to compliment your company on its excellent Customer care and technical support. I received a virus through email from a trusted source: it was the Pretty Park virus. I am running Windows 98 on my business system (I'm a computer contractor). I opened the letter and then realised that I had a virus, my virus scanner did not identify the virus. Alarmed, I went to Harvey Normans and on a recommendation of a colleague I purchased VET.
During installation VET identified the PRETTY PARK virus. However during the reboot process the system locked with a VET message saying that my registry was contaminated. I had not registered the product at this point.
I rang your contact number, I was issued a Customer number with a minimum of delay and then transferred to [Tech Support who] took me through some tests so that the extent of the damage could be assessed and then sent me an email (to my other systems) with detailed instructions and a registry merge file.
The whole process was quite painless and my system is now fully functional. The old [competitor's] software has gone and I feel much safer with your VET protection. I have been a contractor for some 23 years and my recent experience with support organisations has been most frustrating. I was therefore delighted to find people doing it right.

I just wanted to offer you a bit of positive feedback about your newsletter (VVCC Online Newsletter). Maybe every so often you could emphasise how good your technical staff are. I am a blind user with limited experience of computers. Thanks to them, I was able to download off the Internet and updating is now easy.
I also really appreciate getting e-mails from you alerting me when new updates are ready for download. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the VCC October Newsletter. I find the newsletters very informative. I am not into the technical detail, but I like to keep a 'strategic' eye on what is happening in the virus world.
I found particularly helpful your advice re frequency of downloading a new full version. I have often wondered about the preferred balance between upgrading to the latest full version and relying on the regular updates (which I have always installed as soon as I have opened your latest email update advice). So I have now programmed upgrades according to your recommendations.
I must say I find it very reassuring to know that you are beavering away in the background (just like VET is always there running in the background) to make sure we have the best protection against the scourge! Whenever anyone asks me about virus protection I put them straight onto VET and I know they are very pleased once they sign up.

I'm writing to let Computer Associates know that this morning I opened an email with the attachment MSOOBE.EXE, Vet immediately threw up a message (see attached MS Word file) and killed the virus.
I resubscribed just a few weeks ago and consider that I've had the value of my subscription returned in this one event.
Congratulations to the Vet team, you've saved me sweating buckets of blood!
I rang the person whose computer I figured the worm had originated from. He is up for a reformat -- he is sweating buckets of blood.
I teach adults to use computer applications at 5 different adult education centres. I recommend Vet to all of my classes. I tell them that using the Net without having virus protection installed on their PC's is a braver act than bungee jumping.!
